Corona Time

With social distancing going on most of us have extra time on our hands. What are you doing fitness-wise with that time? I am doing my yoga in the afternoon/evening and aiming for the longer practices I don't usually get to - mostly slow and gentle ones. And since it's always 5 o'clock somewhere, I broke out my soda streamer that's been sitting in the box for at least 3 months!

That is a good idea! I think I am going to try to add qi gong or tai chi and meditation.

I have no extra time lol! If anything, I feel like I have even less time to myself. I telework and have to home school Tiny Bubble. Then cook. Then work out at night, because getting up early isn't happening.

I’m doing longer home Spin workouts. During the week I usually can only do 30-45 minute plus 15–minutes of stretching and save my longer Spin workouts for the weekends. Now that I’m telecommuting I can do 60-minutes of Spinning and a nice long stretch.

I’m now also able to do more physical therapy (for my rotator cuff) throughout the day.

I want to give a huge shout out to Bubbles and all the moms that are telecommuting and home schooling. I don’t know how you’re doing it all. That’s got to be tough.

I’m doing as much or as little as I want for fitness. It’s nice to have the time to do it my way. Plus spring cleaning and purging closets, basement etc.

I want to echo that.... I'm so thankful my boys are both at home but old enough to take care of their own stuff. I have a senior in high school -- huge bummer that he will miss his senior prom, graduation, etc., but someone else mentioned having a daughter who's a junior and I think that's a very tough grade to have this happening to. Junior year is so critical for college apps. Good luck!!

It is! And also the AP exams for the seniors. I am curious to see how all this will be handled.

It is an unprecedented time and one these kids will never forget, that's for sure.

Thanks, it is lol! But I've only got one. My friend at work has three and she's in college as well, working on completing her Masters. She is teleworking too. So I try not to complain. Now SHE is a superwoman!
