Quick Venus Index question

What height step is best for the step-up exercises in VI? I am planning to get this program and I know it has a lot of step-ups. I'm 5'5" if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

The height will vary based on height but in general the height should be below your knees. I have made adjustments to the height when I noticed the higher the step, the less comfortable the knees were. I'm on week 9 and I'm really enjoying the program. Good luck!

Thanks Nora! Do you think 12" is too high?

Check if the 12" height lets your knee be at 90 degrees when your foot is on top of the step and your hip-thigh angle is at 90 degrees to the floor. 14" is where those angles are at for me at 5'4". Depends on your leg lengths.

I use my Firm 14" wooden box for my step ups.
