Gams I've switched to working out at night. Even doing a long yoga dvd at night will help me sleep better. I haven't had to use sleep aids in a week.

I have doing sleep meditations from from the free app Insight Timer
every night just before bedtime. Teeth brushed, etc so I can go to bed immediately after the meditation. This is a stressful time already for me, as I work a lot of hours this time a year. Mostly from home fortunately.

Before I started the nightly meditations, I would wake up exhausted. Now I am rested. Also my sleep Fitbit scores are almost now in the excellent range. Nice to have that objective feedback.

I also find herbal sleep teas helpful an hour before bedtime.

I watch the Warrior Canine Connection puppies at explore.org. They have lots of animal and nature cams. They even have some they call zen. I like the one of underwater fish. Sometimes I put it on just to listen to it. I also like to watch the bald eagle cams, but the puppies always put a smile on my face.

I started watching The Office. Steve Carell is absolutely hilarious and I wonder how any of them can keep a straight face in front of the camera! I haven't laughed out loud so often and so loud in a long time.
