I think both TBM and TDM make good slower-paced barre DVDs - but personally (I know, I'm a broken record!) I think The Dailey Method improved my technique waaaaay more. I

Jill's ab work instruction is particularly good at making you feel the work, which means you can work harder/deeper into your abs. Her ab work improved my Pilates practice quite a bit (and she uses neutral spine, which is much healthier for your back than a flat/imprinted spine).
But I started with TBM, and Burr's form pointers are better than most. I just love TDM a little bit more.
