I have been walking a miinimum of 30 minutes a day 5X a week for the last 20 years. I also workout with DVDs or run another 4-5 times a week.

I am 60 years old and don't have any ongoing health issues. I am not overweight and people are usually suprised when they find out my age.

I have been consistently working out for 30+ years. it has kept me healthy and my stats on doctor appointments are always good.

Weight loss has only come with eating better (whole other story).

But I feel working out consistently has helped me not seriously injuring myself; helps in the healing process and if I fall, I can usually bounce back up.

I have done spinning, weights, walking with yoga/pilates/stretch. I latter I seem to slack off on when I get too busy but it is always a goal of mine to do them 3-4 days a week even if only 10 minutes worth.

I focused more on fitness once buffboy was born. I started with 3x week/every other day but that was too much to keep track of as a new mom, so I went to a 'just do something' for at least 10 min daily. That progressed so that now I do at least 30 min of whatever I'm doing plus a yoga practice (also 30 min on average) most days. And 12 year old buffboy calls me 'Savage Mommy'.

I've been working out since I was 17 years old, so since I'm now 61 that makes 44 years.

I've done most everything throughout the years, and still continue to do the same things, just in different ways.

I've gone through a series of years where I would run about 40 miles a week. I still run, just not as many miles

I went through my DVD stage with The Firm and then others including Cathe for about 25 years.

Now I am doing high intensity interval group training and lifting heavy with a trainer.

I still work out every single day, usually twice a day.

I guess I have been doing circuit/HiiT workouts for years. Anything with jumping/movement. I know I should try other things but I really need to move my body when I workout. I have toned down my jumping over the years, though.
