I’m on a posture focus right now, have done these CS/Essentrics workouts since I last posted:
~ETV Express Posture ~CS 1116 Posture ~CS 1003 Spine Stretch for Posture ~ETV Posture & Spine I’ve been combining them with Ellen Barrett’s streaming workouts, stretchy yin yoga, & Yoga Tune Up Style ball acupressure. I’ve also been doing lots of walking on my UK holiday. It’s a nice combo!

Hello Friends,
Summer is winding down and I am getting sad. I love Fall but dread winter. I am trying to get in as many walks and bike rides as I can while the weather is nice. I will walk in the cold but not the ice. Well as August started off a little hot, it cooled off pretty early for August. I have had my windows open for most of the month. I love the fresh air. I hope all is well with everyone. August 5-1 hour walk, 1 hour yard work, 20 mins stretching August 6-45 min walk. August 7-Essentrics/Meg/Abs and arms August 8-No mojo today. Started my day finding a bat in my kitchen at 6:00 a.m. It was downhill from there. August 9-20 mins yoga August 10-Essentrics/Increase Your Energy August 11-1 1/2 hour walk, 30 mins stretching, 1 hour yard work August 12-Essentrics/Ultimate Stretch/Meg, Essentrics/Full body toning, 30 mins yoga. August 13-1 hour yard work, 1 hour walk. August 14-Today was my first day at my new PT job. And of course, I was sick. I worked 6:30-8:30 at the library and then 9:00-4:00 at the new job. Afterwards I went to the Walk in clinic as i was sure I had a bladder infection or a kidney infection. Well there was a bladder infection but also blood in my urine so off to the ER. They said I had a kidney stone. After 2 hours there, CT scan blood work etc, off to get meds and home at 8:30 p.m. I was so tired, felt like poop and went to bed. August 15-another no workout day. Just trying to figure my new schedule.. August 16-12 mile bike ride, then running, from bats. They got lose again from the Attic when the electrician was there running wires. They were flying all over the place. Scared the heck out of me. August 17-14 mile bike ride. Did some walking as well. August 18-15 mile bike ride. August 19-12 mile bike ride, some walking, 20 mins yoga August 20-1.5 hour walk, 20 mins of stretching. August 21-1 hour walk, 1 1/2 hours yard word, 50 min walk. August 22-50 min walk August 23-I can't remember if I walked in the morning. It was a long day and I was up super early...Oh well..maybe I did, maybe I didn't.... August 24-75 min walk August 25-2 walks, the first one was 50 mins and the second one was 1 hour. Mary |

Today was CS 1223 Stretch Your Spine, a lovely all standing episode with big sweeping trademarks. I also did a Jessica Smith workout & some stretchy yoga & YTU style acupressure on my back in keeping with my posture focus.
Mary - You’ve had an eventful month!

I finally did Meg's new workout on ETV on Friday. That was a fun workout....basic, but fun.
I need to get in some Essentrics today...yesterday it was Ellen and Barre 3. I'll probably pick a newer workout from the streaming. Really hope they put up a new workout this week! Mary---that is too much excitement for me!

Yesterday was Classical Stretch 1107 Spine Mobility, another lovely all standing episode in keeping with my posture focus. I also got in a nice long walk, some wrist friendly spine & hip focused yoga, & more ball acupressure.
We head to Stansted on the train today for an early flight to France tomorrow.

I discovered episode 1211 this week. It says it’s for finger arthritis...my new job requires a lot of really fine motor skills and some days my hands do feel arthritic. This episode worked the hands and feet quite nicely and I think I will have to do it on a semi-regular basis. I am still getting in my two walks during breaks each day, and so far every day this week I have come home from work and jogged on my rebounder until I reach 10k steps. I jog to Virtual Active videos, and right now I’m jogging my way through Panama

Izzy, great job for August!
My daughter, Angelina, and I worked out together on Monday, August 26: * Essentrics TV Pre-Sport Workout * Margaret Richard All my Best - Vol 1, Part 2 - Warmup - Pectorals - Triceps - Abdominals - Hamstrings - Gluteals - Quadriceps I liked the Pre-Sport Workout because it's slow and thorough. I worked up a good sweat! Angelina had difficulty finishing it (she's 16) because she's accustomed to Tai Kwon Do (acceleration and speed). We complement one another. I was stuck in bed with a migraine Tuesday and Wednesday, and today I enjoyed feeling human again. Christina

I taught a class today, did a short Barre3 workout, and played around with a trademark I'm working on.
Wow I can't believe it's Labor Day weekend!
