Dream Body & Bad cases!

I received my order of 2 sets of Dream Body (one is already traded, the second is for me) and in both cases, disc 1 (fusion mix) and disc 3 (bikini bootcamp) were loose and scratched. Disc 1 never had a chance because the case is defective and won't hold any dvd. Disc 3 was just mishandling and not putting the dvd properly in the case. I've written to Darby and am waiting for a response.

This aggravates me as this set is not cheap and I expect better. Am I being nit-picky???

I saw on Mary's site that one set had loose DVDs and she was using them to make the clips. I hope this doesn't become a problem for those who have ordered.

Not nitpicky. It's not hard to package things securely and properly.

I'd much rather have the dvds NOT shrinkwrapped so the sender can check that the dvds will not arrive damaged.

I just heard back from Darby and she is sending a replacement and an envelope for the damaged returns. Will post an update once I receive my replacements!

Exactly. I've done a fair number of trades and securing the dvds to make sure they have a harm-free passage is not that hard!

I do not think you are picky at all, you paid for a new product. I do not think it is too much to ask for the product to thus be received in new condition.

If you purchased a new sweater with a hole in it, you could still wear it, but you didn't pay for a sweater with a hole in it. You'd return it . . and I think it should be the same with DVDs - especially sets over $100. We work hard for our money, you know.

I hope it goes well for you with the replacement. I have my eyes on this set too . . I've been waiting out the DVD-R issue.

I hate receiving scratched dvds! It's so annoying, and no, you're not being picky. You paid a premium price for the set, you should receive it in pristine condition.

That's not nit-picky of you at all! I'd want them to be perfect, too! I'm glad she's sending a replacement so quickly!
