So far, Friday the 13th is kicking my A$$ just as badly as it did back in March...let's hope things change soon!

Thanks all for the HUGS! I do appreciate my VF family.
I'll try to duck back in either tonight or tomorrow.

Back to post my workouts....
~5 km walk ~Short stability ball HIIT w/o on YT by an Essentrics friend. The first time I’ve picked up hand weights in a while, it was pretty low key, a good starting point ~BellyFit TV: season 2, episode 1, Confidence - cardio only about 25 min - I decided to revisit these. The cardio was the perfect length, the same as Shakti Warrior. It was a nice brisk pace, great music, but the blank set is very bland. But I did enjoy it. ~Alignment Snack: Leg Goes Forward, Leg Goes Back - Very nice hip & ham focused stretch ~Active release to hips with Petrone balls. ~Steps: 10,648 Sandra - That flash as you drive by a photo radar or red light cam is very disconcerting! We appreciate you too Beth! Waves to all!

I'm sending all Mat Mavens (((VIRTUAL HUGS))) during these difficult times! I have a bit of blues (and stress) too with all the news, the days getting darker, and the cloudy and rainy past few days haven't helped much either.
Here's how my week has gone so far. I'm still plugging away with Cathe's STS. Sunday: STS Mesocycle 2, Disc 16 (Chest, Shoulders & Triceps) Monday: AM: TAUGHT Cardio class PM: STS Mesocycle 2, Disc 17 (Legs) followed by four sets of 15 barbell hip thrusts (50 lb. barbell this week) Tuesday: Patrick Goudeau's Step Up (fun choreography but by the end my brain was fried!) Wednesday: STS Mesocycle 2, Disc 18 (Back & Biceps) Yesterday: The Firm: The Hare (This workout always puts me in a good mood!) Today: April Plank Pilates Reformer Workout #35: Back to the Basics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd72FUEKPWw) One of my Facebook fitness friends is a big fan of April's reformer workouts, so I decided to give it a try. It was a good workout, although parts of it moved a little slowly for me (but I did appreciate her instruction, which was excellent). Also, she kept referring to the colors of her springs (my reformer only has three cords of equal resistance) which made it a little hard to follow. That said, I did enjoy it and it made me realize I miss my reformer! I've been dabbling with my reformer the past few weeks (did one of June Kahn's DVDs last week), and want to incorporate it more. Back in a few with personals...
