Dairy free rcipes

I'm going to try to go dairy free to see if it will help my IC symptoms and bloating. I need breakfast recipes. I feel better if I have something sweet in the morning. Ilike oatmeal, but it gets old after awhile.are there any recipes you like for dairy free pancakes/waffles etc?

The Happy Herbivore is good for dairy free vegan breakfasts. I'm not vegan but I look at her blog and bought her cookbooks mostly for egg free breakfasts (can't stand eggs). She has muffins, smoothies, pancakes, etc.

If you like eggs but not dairy, you will find loads of dairy free breakfasts on paleo and Whole 30 blogs, but those will mostly likely not be sweet.

ETA: Here is a link to dairy free breakfast recipes from Oh She Glows:

The blog "Detoxinista" has a lot of dairy free recipes.

Do you like smoothies? They are easily made dairy free.

My husband is dairy free and gluten free. I've found that coconut milk performs the closest to cow's milk and sometimes I just substitute it in a "regular" recipe. It's something to try if you already have a favorite recipe.

There are a lot of Paleo recipes that are good. Pinterest is good place to search.

My daughter is dairy free. Coconut creme in pumpkin pie creates a good texture and consistency. She says the pie is wonderful.

Kristen Hong has a ton of dairy free recipes ON HER WEBSITE.

They are vegan and salt and oil free but you can season as desired. (They’re actually quite tasty as is. )

I have found that coconut milk is about the closest to cooking with cow's milk in terms of consistency and substance. My DH can also tolerate condensed goat's milk and they sell it in some stores. I use it in place of cream.
