Vantreesta - I just read your post & I’m so glad your aunt is home & recovering! I’ve always liked the saying “gratitude can change your attitude”.

Hello everyone!

Thank you Pam for starting this thread.

My focus is to venture out of my comfort zone and try some different styles of yoga. I'll also continue with my qigong practices and want to get into the habit of a daily meditation.

Day 1
- Ekhart Yoga - Get Ready for Winter and Boost Your Immune System (a Kundalini-inspired practice)
- Travis Eliot Pranayama, Unequal Breath and Focus Meditation

Vantreesta - Sending best wishes for your aunt's continued recovery.

Anita - Clive Fogelman was a favourite of mine when I subscribed to MFML. Glad you liked his class.

Pat - Thank you for the link to the Winter Solstice meditation. The visualisation was really nice.

Thanks, guys. She spent a week in the hospital at Thanksgiving and has been at home with oxygen. She went back yesterday bc of terrible pain and trouble walking. Her doctor told her 10% of covid patients who have been hospitalized are back in in 10 days and 25% are back in 16 days. That's scary numbers!

I hope to actually remember to look at the sky for the convergence tonight!

Vannie, I am so glad your aunt was able to go home.

I am not going to have a specific focus. Every time I have tried that, it backfires I guess I am a workout rebel! I plan to do yoga, meditation and qi gong.

I apologize in advance if I can't always do personals. I will try when I can.

Totally off-topic, but a question for you, Sherry. I just finished making gingerbread cookies and got to wondering. I don't know if you make cutout cookies, but if you do, what do you use when rolling out dark cookies (gingerbread, chocolate, etc)? Do you just use flour? The white on them bugs me but of course, you don't see that as much on the top after they're baked, but sometimes it still shows, and some on the bottom. Just was curious.

Oh and I forgot to go out after sunset when you were supposed to be able to see the planets aligned.

Vannie, I am not a gingerbread fan, so I cannot help. I am sorry. Here is a link with a recipe and video tutorial from Sally's Baking Addiction for them:
https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/be...bread-cookies/

Eta: I have seen it suggested to put the dough between two pieces of parchment paper to roll them out. That way you do not need flour.

Thanks, Sherry! I always forget about parchment paper for rolling. The cookies would be more tender without the extra flour!
