Looking for a beginner fat loss program 20-30 mins

Due to some personal issues and health issues I have fallen off the fitness wagon and am looking to restart working out again. It hasn't been a very long break probably a couple of months so I'm not looking for something extremely beginner like the powerfits more like the high beginner range. Preferably a system that covers strength, cardio and flexibility and is about 20-30 mins. Medium impact is fine.

Thanks so much!

project you with kathy smith, 10 pound slimdown with chris freytag.

some of the older weight watcher sets are pretty comprehensive - Next Move with Michelle Dozois, Get Moving Mix with Petra Kolber. these 2 WW sets have 5, 20 to 30-min workouts that cover cardio, strength, core, etc.

the re-filmed P90 with Tony horton also comes to mind.

Cathe's ICE series is also great and there are shorter Timesaver premixes.

A friend of mine purchased the Jillian Michael's "Killer" dvds (Killer Abs, Killer Buns & Thighs etc) which each have 3 progressively harder 30 minute workouts and she made her own rotation. She had good results. She also bought her Yoga Inferno dvd.

I'd definitely recommend Tony Horton's P90.

I really like 21 day fix, because there is an really helpful modifier-Cat. and the workouts are 30 minutes, and fly by, nothing too crazy, and the modified moves are very doable. and don't forget to allow yourself a step touch move if you need a break. You don't have to do it perfectly, you'll get there!good luck!

I've been doing the new P90s for the past 1.5 weeks. (I believe it was Richie's results that got my attention! )

I was pleasantly surprised at how accessible it was (modifications shown). I do wish there was more flexibility included -- the cool down stretches are pretty minimal (I need more), so I just tack it on at the end.

This is my first time using a BB system as a complete rotation (as designed).

I ditto Jeannine on the Weight Watchers DVDs. The Get Moving mix with Petra is high beginner/low intermediate. I didn't click with the WW Next Move DVD, but the WW Start Getting Healthy with Michelle Dozois is REALLY good, and I'd say intermediate.

I highly recommend Weight Loss Cardio Sculpt, which has 2 workouts with Violet Zaki, each 20 minutes (35 minutes with the warmup and -excellent- cooldown). I alternate this DVD with Weight Loss Cardio Kick. Same instructor, two more excellent and concise 30min programs. I think these are really great value for the money -- they are super cheap on Amazon. They feature a beginner modifier but have a surprising little punch to them!

Michelle Dozois & Lisa Wheeler workouts

Welcome back! I've been there.

Lisa Wheeler's Weight Watchers 10 Minute Belly, Butt & Thigh Tone-Ups - absolutely no dread factor. 10 minute segments that can be done with only 1 set of weights. Very nicely choreographed, no wasted moves. Lisa always has a "special" move at the end of a set of workout moves. It always leaves me feeling good - worked out but not overly exhausted.

Lisa Wheeler's Weight Watchers 7 Day Tone & Burn - has two 30 min workouts, one sculpting & one cardio. Also nicely choreographed, fun, good to progress with.

Michelle Dozois' Pick Your Level Fat to Firm Fast is awesome. I can follow along with the beginner, intermediate or advanced and not feel left out. Just enough cardio to feel worked and good solid strength training with only 1 or 2 sets of weights.

These can all be purchased for < $10 each.

Of course I'm going to recommend the FIRM and Fitprime/Kickbutts:

Anything from Fitness Favorites are well chaptered and many beginner options. Most workouts you can grow with in reference to upping the weights and adding in segments. I use the full range from beginner to advanced and love the variety.

Tracie Long also has many options and some shorter 15-20 minute premixes.
