Fat Burner has longer and less intense interval segments along with longer rests. It has a bigger variety of moves and has some slight variation in intensity during the turbos. So it probably is a good compliment to interval workouts. It is also a longer workout.
The TurboFire Hiits that come with the set are pretty short overall and more similar to other Hiit type workouts, work for x seconds, rest for x seconds, repeat.
To keep up the intensity of Fat Burner to the level of other Tabata and Hiit workouts, you may need to substitute a harder move here and there. The Turbo Fires have some of the best music I've ever heard in workouts- as long as you like hip hop and rap music.
I like fat burner for days when i want a short workout that can be challenging or want a shorter workout that doesn't take too many brains, then I don't go all out on the turbos.
