Did the Abs & Arms Workout today -- what a burner! It creeps up on you. Had to sub some of the ab floor work, but otherwise a great workout. Just wish she had a little more upbeat, energetic music...oh well..

Thank you! I am slowly doing some of her workouts (in between SBF) & about to purchase some downloads. This is quite helpful.

I have DOMS from Seated Abs for 3 days.

I just got 6 more workouts, they are amazingly creative and intense.

This one reminds me Tonique a with slower pace.

Are there any workouts that have traditional mat/floorwork? Thanks.

You can check on her website to see if there are any mat/floorwork that you like. I tried a lot of them, and they are pretty hard, but gave me really good results! The sample that she gives on her website for each workout will be long enough for you to decide if it's for you or not. I do highly recommend Linda!

Linda just posted new FREE Barlates HIIT Interval workout today. It's 29 min long and it looks really good! She is so generous!

I received my DVDs yesterday - Linda works fast! -- but it appears they are actually DVD-R's, not DVDs. Yeah, purple backings. I've emailed Linda about it. It's not really a deal breaker for me because I own 12-year-old DVD-R's which still play fine, but I know a DVD-R is a deal breaker for many of you.

I ordered a lot of workouts. There are two discs for each plastic DVD container. The cover sheet lists an average of six workouts on the first disc and the back sheet lists five to seven workouts burned on the second disc. The discs all look the same, otherwise. Each disc is, of course, chaptered.

I did Lunge Variations this morning and liked it. It's intermediate and didn't feel as hard as my Hilliard Studio Methods, BBL, Cathes, Toniques, Benson Firms, etc., but that's not a bad thing. There's no dread whatsoever, so I can see myself reaching for it a lot. I'd put Lunge Variations on the same level as a Fe Fit or Barre3. (Again, Lunge Variations is the only workout I've done, so that's not to say the other Barlates workouts aren't intense. We'll see....)

I'm an endo, so non-weighted lower body workouts like Lunge Variations are probably best suited for my body type and my goals these days -- not as quad-focused as traditional barre, no heavy weights required and nowhere near intense as Tonique. I worked up a very light sweat and felt sufficiently challenged yet refreshed, not wiped out, at the end of Lunge Variations. One of my legs was actually shaking near the end. Linda gave very good form pointers, too. Though I'm very touchy about music, the music here didn't bother me at all. I only needed my yoga mat & a chair for this workout, which is a nice change from the Cathe workouts I've been doing lately.
