I still use/intend to use my Karen Voight DVDs. I like her strength workouts and yoga best. Her cardio can be a bit tricky for me, but I do like some of it that she did in later years.

Karen is one of my favorite instructors. I still use Yoga Sculpt and her Pilates workout (the one without the ring), plus her newer stretch workout filmed outdoors. I have always loved her elegance and her quiet persona.

I feel that way about "vintage" workouts. I like the new stuff. The workouts back in the day I repeated so often.

Shhh I even feel that way about CS/Essentrics.

Karen's Pure & Simple Stretch is in regular rotation for me.

I never liked her cardio. Something about her cueing style that I just couldn't follow.

I like the floor section from GWW.

I still have GWW and also the Sleek Essentials set, which is pretty good.

I agree with Alta though, there's something about her cardio workouts.....they seem to be more complicated than they need to be!

Thank you and Alta. I thought it was just me! I can do dance cardio that is not complex, but hers was not easy to follow.

For me, it was her arm movements. The arms, combined with her leg moves, just didn't seem to sync together into a cardio workout. I always felt really awkward trying to follow her. I did end up liking the cardio from her Sleek Essentials set, as well as one or two other cardio workouts that she did around that same time period. However, all earlier cardio workouts stay on the shelf. I just can't face them!

Thank you! I am glad it was not just me!

I have one KV video and I will pull it out once in a while. Generally, I've never been a huge fan. Her camera presence, to me, is very awkward. She just seems very uncomfortable and that makes me feel uncomfortable.

I do!! Strong and Smooth Moves (it's on a compilation DVD called Sleek and Strong I think), Energy Sprint, Pure and Simple Stretch, and GWW are all frequently used by me. I also like some of her yoga workouts.
