Tech Question: How can I organize my YouTube favorites on my iPad?

I'm not even sure how to ask the question. While most of my workouts are still on DVD, I have found several on YouTube that I'd like to access quickly. Right now, I just search the instructor and scroll down until I find the one I want, or hope the sidebar makes the right suggestions.

So is there any way to "mark" the specific workout, then move it to a folder or something so I can find it quickly? This would be on my iPad, and I'm just not sure what I can do to keep things simple and accessible.

I do not have an ipad, but it is easy to create folders while on a computer. Then you can use them in the ipad. I posted instructions before. If I cannot find them I will type them out later.

Hi Sherry - yes thanks. I can make folders on my computer (VF is in my "message boards" folder ). It's the iPad I'm unsure about. I know it's strange that I keep my devices separate. I even turned off the Cloud because I like each device to have its own function. Does that even make sense?

I am sorry. I do not know if it is different on the ipad. Do you have the same you tube account log in on the computer and ipad?

Okay - that's a start. I don't have a YT log in. So I get a YT account, then I'll have more options?

I think so. Then you could create playlists on the computer and they would be there when you logged in on the ipad.

Louise, on the iPad, you very simply start to create playlists by clicking on the "lines with the plus sign" icon next to "save" when you've got the video you want to save to a playlist. (That icon is always below the video window on the right-hand side and also, when the video window is open and active, along the top on the right side of the video.) Then, when you want to see your playlists, tap on the "Library" icon in the lower right hand corner of the page.

So I went to create an account, and it becomes a Google account? Is that right? I guess since Google owns YouTube there's no way to separate them?

They cannot be separated.
