Jennifr Kries- New Body Ballet

This is from 2008. Does anyone have this? Do you like it?

thanks in advance

also for those of you that do ballet workouts, do they raise your heartrate a bit? I know when I do Jennifer Galardi's ballet body, it raises my HR a bit.

I don't have this, but I'd be interested to hear what others say about it. I use ballet workouts, and they do raise my heartrate to the point where I sweat. However, I do not use any type of monitor, etc.

I don't do any traditional cardio due to both my knee and personal preference, but I love ballet!

JK's New Body Ballet has three segments but they are basically the same workout presented at three different levels (beg; beg/int; int) with increasingly challenging variations. I only use the third one as an extended warm-up to barre workouts.

Hi Sunday!

I have this workout and I like it a lot, but I consider it more of a fun add-on, or a spark, rather than a real workout. The intensity is pretty low, and IIRC the first workout is about 13 minutes. The longest workout is about 20 min, but it’s the same footage as the others, with added exercises. It ends in a fun “dance” which even choreographically-challenged I can do.

This one seems to be intended to have more of a toning focus than a cardio focus. It doesn't raise my heart rate, but I still can't get through a complete segment without resting my arms.

It has been a long time since I tried this workout, but I do remember not being too impressed with it on any level.

I use segment 3 as a lower body add on. It's quite pretty, but it's quite short. I guess if you don't exercise at all and start doing this one every day, you'd see results, but beyond that, I don't think this is enough on it's own. I like it, and I'm glad I had it, but I did buy it on sale.

Ali -would you say that one of these 20 minute segments would be a good add on on a TA Metamorphisis day? That's how I was planning on using it recently.
