Thank you for resurrecting this one - someone had given me one of the Powerfits and for some reason it's become a dust bunny - I'm in rehab mode and am reaching for it tonight!!! Thanks for the reminder!

I love the Harmony set. They got me out of a Spring-exercise funk and they've continued to get used whenever I'm just not "feeling it." PF's 20-minute length is great, and I can easily add-on 10-minutes of toning if I want. I also love the core workouts -- and I generally don't *do* core...

ETA: I also use weights with it whenever I can...

I have gotten good arm definition while using PF.
I do more arm movements with the band though that she does.

Now if I can only find 'Plus' (at a good price) I will be in heaven.

I have PowerFit Harmony worked into a 10 1/2 week rotation I just started. It's a great program if you're out of shape because it's super doable for pretty much anyone because of it's low impact moves. I don't get crazy sore from the workouts, and it's only 20 minutes, so it's hard to make excuses about not having enough time, lol.

I have Powerfit and Harmony, and they've been under the bed, not being used. But you inspired me. (Thanks for bringing the thread back, Lucky Star.) I did one yesterday and today, and I really feel rejuvenated after! I think I'll stick with it for a while.

And the 20 minutes is perfect now that the kids are back in school and we have to get to school in the morning, homework in the evening, Scouts, etc. I can still fit it in.

And Tish, did you say you could sub weights for bands?
It's kind of faster-pace beginner.

You could sub weights for the band, but they don't show anyone with weights so you'd have to figure out what to do with a weight yourself.

And you can use heavier bands or even double up on bands to get more of a burn, especially as there aren't a lot of reps.
ETA - I know I sound like an old lady but I really appreciate the calm, measured approach and sensible moves. I'm so *over* the rapid-paced, high impact stuff with lots of quick twisting moves that yank my spine. These workouts feel good!
