Looking for DVD or Program Similar to Tonique sans Excessive Quad work

I LOVE Tonique, as Sylwia helped with losing fat, BUT my thighs increased 1/2 inch. After reading similar results, I put Tonique away & began Barre workouts without any further increase to thigh circumference. Don't get me wrong, I'll never get rid of Tonique, but will include it in far off rotations 1x week or use as a 1 wk break between rotations.

I just acquired BBL for dirt cheap, and really excited to start it next rotation, as it's foci is not on quads according to VF reviews. I also like the looks of Les Mills Body Pump, but scared of all the lunges//squats.

So, is there anything out there similar to Tonique or Les Mills Body Pump with less emphasis on quads? Is Les Mills less "quadcentric" than Tonique? What about JNL?

I like good music & dancy stuff like Ministry of Sound, Pump it Up, Sweating Sexy, Rockin' Body.

What I don't like: boring step routines--needs to be more dancy with nice music; no hip-hop, if possible; absolutely no Zumba or Zumba like products, please--I don't wanna Joni-O or ?Claire/Clare just yet.

Yup, I'm picky, sigh.

As my signature states, I don't want schwarzeneggeresque thighs.

FYI: It's not water gain, as I lost 14 lb over 3 months doing Tonique. My thighs are conditioned to gain mass due to 11 years of competitive track & field from middle school through college.

TIA!

This is an extremely different type of workout, but Essentrics/Classical Stretch thinned out my quads. I too get pretty bulky when constantly doing squats and lunges.

Thanks, Christine. I'll check out Eccentrics/Classical Stretch on youtube.

I have Les Mills and Tonique, I think Les Mills might do the same thing to your quads that Tonique did, but I'm not 100% sure. They're plenty of lunges and squats in Les Mills low weight high, high rep maybe even more so than Tonique. That been said I'm on a Les Mills rotation and love it. I would recommend Mari Winsor
