Kellie, well you & I have the same type/height/wt. I've found the older Firms with the step-ups and lunges work the best for me, along with the KCM leg work
& walking up hills. The older I get the more I try to focus on the pluses of
my body type, ie. being tall and slender !!

Step works your quads, but also burns a lot of calories, so you'd have to up your caloric intake to avoid losing weight.

I could have written the OP. Lately I have been doing barre and I enjoy it more than trad leg work. I recently purchased CF Thighs and Glutes with the intention of doing one 10 min. segment every other day.

However, after the first two segments my quads are so sore I had to skip an extra day.

Too soon to expect results, but I am hoping.

You can also try Pure Barre(s)- the pace is faster than the Bar Method and they're also challenging for the quads.

Another cyclist here.
I'll put in another vote for Core Fusion Thighs and Glutes. I've been adding on one 10 min. segment a day to my TA Meta Glute rotation because I felt I needed some more thigh work. My thighs and hamstrings have been burning all week! The little 10 min. segments seem so easy and like nothing is happening, but the next day...oh boy! So, I only have a weeks worth of doing them, but they are hitting the right spot. Other than that, I have to say Tonique.
