Thanks everyone. I have the two FIRM workouts, and I think I also have Cathe's body max 2. Just got All in 18 in a trade.

Will be looking at starting my short strength rotation today. need to get some upper and lower body work done.

Fitness Blender on YouTube has some good, shorter strength workouts

Kathy Smith's Lift Weights to Lose Weight. Two 20min routines, one upper body, one lower. Also has a 7min bonus ab/back routine. Kathy's hyper (to say the least!) but they're good, solid workouts with dual tracks that allow you to lift lighter or heavier.

Joni, thanks for the The FIRM: Super Body Sculpt suggestion. I bought it and is a good one. Just weight-lifting at a reasonable pace. Short, but effective.

Montenegro Method lower is about 29 min but you can skip the core work to shorten it a little. Her upper body work is 18 min.

Glad you like it. It's my go-to upper body workout when I'm short on time - and even sometimes when I'm not!

I second the Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight suggestion. There's also a Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight 2; I didn't like it as well as the first one, but it's OK. I think you can get both 1 and 2 on a single DVD now.

I did this one this week. It was good and not overkill. Only thing I didn't like was there was not a premix (that I could find) for just upper body. I went to the menu and picked each body part. Guess I could put the whole workout on and just skip to that part.

Am I missing something or is there a premix for this?

Thanks, I didn't know about this premix!

I'm trying for consistency and want 20min strength routines in the morning. I love Gilad's Quick Fit System and Kathy's LW2LW but am also trying out Star Trainers Strength. The DVD has 5 individual workouts, all 20min total body, prob more of a beginner-intermediate level (depending on weights). Not *exactly* what you were looking for but I thought I'd mention it as well.
