My Creamy White Bean and Garlic Hummus recipe is Cathe's featured recipe this week!

I am so happy that my recipe is being featured as Cathe's Healthy Recipe this week!

Here it is:

Creamy White Bean and Garlic Hummus:

Ingredients

1 15 oz. can of Cannellini Beans (white kidney beans)
1 Clove of Garlic
1/4 Cup of Fresh Parsley (or 1 teaspoon of dried)
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

This is great as a hummus dip (it’s a big hit at parties) or in sandwiches.

That's ingenious! I wouldn't have thought to use cannellini beans in place of garbanzo beans for hummus! Thanks for posting!

Do you drain/rinse the beans?

Congrats!

This sounds really good - I love hummus, but have never tried any beans other than garbanzo either. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for sharing.....never tried it with white beans, but I love hummus any way you slice it or dice it.

Yes, I drain and rinse the beans.

Please let me know how you all like the recipe!

BTW, I have made it without the lemon juice when I didn't have any in stock, and it still came out delicious.

This looks good! I love white bean dips! Think I will make for a party I am attending tomorrow. Thanks!
