I added tags to this thread, including "mindless workouts" (which is not meant in a derogatory way at all), and then went on a long trip down VF memory lane and tagged some "vintage" threads that I remembered from the past that are in a similar vein.

Maybe we should start a Firm workout check-in for March or April? I think it would be fun!

I’m going to experiment with doing mostly Firm videos this month to see if I can lose some weight.

Yes, there’s something lovely about moving opposite limbs, isn’t there? Just puts everything back into sync for me.

It is nice to not have to think too hard. I was doing one of Linda’s YouTube workouts last night and it bugged me how complicated the moves were - “So it’s walk out to push up to crab turn, now raise the OPPOSITE leg three times, now flip, knee to chest, and JUMP UP, now on the other side...”. At least my neck muscles got toned cuz I was constantly cran8ng my neck to see what she was doing 🧐 That’s one thing I love about Leslie, you can just zone out for awhile...

This is also why I enjoy Jari Love and Caroline Girvan's weight workouts (I haven't tried her HIIT), plus Leslie and Jessica. Most things are EXTREMELY simple.

I'm about to do a HIIT workout that I sort of dread.

Maybe we could call them autopilot workouts too!
