is there something like CrossFit on DVD?

I'd like to try CrossFit or something like it, but a class is not an option for me. Is it on DVD? Or is there anything similar on DVD?

Only thing I can think of is RIPT90. I actually like all the workouts. . Minimal equipment and about 30 minutes each.

I think I remembering reading on here that Les Mills Grit classes are kind of going for a more Crossfit-like feel. There is a strength, a plyo, and a cardio option. You can access them on Les Mills On Demand. However, I think people who do Crossfit won't think these classes bear much resemblance, unfortunately.

I am not sure that a truly Crossfit type class could be done safely on video, since Olympic lifts are pretty technical and require at least some coaching.

No, not really. And I've looked. Hard to do something like:

run a 400m
do 12 pullups then
clean and press for 12 reps, then repeat for 15 min.

Yep but if you had a pull-up bar and a barbell and a treadmill or it was nice outside... You don't need a video.

Do you not think Zuzana Light's workout structure is similar to Crossfit?

Kettlebell workouts are the closest thing that I'm aware of because of the use of exercises like snatches and cleans. The barbell versions are more intense though.

Isn't there a daily video class online called WOTD?
IIRC there used to be one and you would just log in. I believe it was free.

I believe the video option is no longer available....
