Thanks for posting the list. I had no idea Tricia Fields was coming out with the next book in the series.

I just hope that this thread gives the weather a hint, a major hint. It's snowing and icing here today. Ah well.

I'm reading The Boys in the Boat, Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel James Brown. This author is such a good story teller.

It's nice to see Spring Reading even though in NW CT, the only sign of spring is birds singing their hearts out. Ugly weather all week to come, sigh.

Spring? Well, okay, I'll take it.

I'm reading one of the Sister Frevisse novels by Margaret Frazer, The Apostate's Tale. So far so good. For some reason, I picked this one to start with, bought it used. Probably on a rec from somewhere. Definitely a good story, suspenseful for sure, but somehow I was expecting a murder mystery. Not sure why. So far, the story has mysteries, but so far, no murder, LOL! Guess I've read too many murder series.

Nice to get a jump on spring...I keep thinking that the weather has to be better in March, but it was snowing here today.

I just finished reading Murder Strikes a Pose, which was a fun yoga-themed cozy mystery. I am almost finished with The Gifts of Imperfection (NF) and have mixed feelings about it. I'm also reading Meditation in Plain English (NF), but making slower progress on that one because I have it at work.

I just finished 'Labor Day' by Joyce Maynard. Very different, but really grabbed my heart! Six days in the life of a most disfunctional family, as narrated by a sexually obsessed 13 year old boy. It sounds odd, I know, but is actually quite lovely.

Just finished this....it was terrific. Even though I knew the outcome, I found it very compelling reading.

Also just read "The Rosie Effect" by Gene Simsion. It was fun but not quite as enjoyable as "The Rosie Project".

I am currently reading "The Monogram Murders" by Sophie Hannah. It is a new mystery featuring Hercule Poirot. I love Agatha Christie and so far this book has kept her spirit alive.

Interesting, Judy. I liked the movie, but I think it was perhaps a bit less...dramatic.
