New Cathe Forum and Update

I like it too. It looks fresher and clean. Maybe the colors could be a little darker/brighter.

I agree, the orange is too bright. Like the clean lines though. I think she is going for the orange that she uses in her logo.

I like it. It's more of a coral color than orange to me. They've had the same 'look' for a long time and it's fine IMHO to make a change. I hope they keep this new scheme for a little while.

ETA: I really don't think it's the same color as in her logo?

ETA again! Weird how the color looks brighter/oranger (is that a word??) on my computer at work than the one at home. It's way too bright a color on my work computer!

SNM posted in the Cathe forums that you can now change the color scheme in your settings options. Sorry, I read this several hours ago, so I can't tell you exactly what thread it was in, but I think it was in the "bring the blue back" thread.

I figured out how to do it! You go all the way to the bottom of the page and there will be a spot at the end that says "Cathe Default". You click on that and 4 different options come up. I chose "Cathe Classic Blue". Ahhh...so much better on the eyes.

Had to look of course. It was very orange on my computer monitor. I didn't mind it, but it was moving towards almost looking fake, like an advertisement site.

It is always interesting to me to see web sites that are uninviting and/or hard to use.

I love the Gymbox, their workouts are amazing at a good price- but this web site looks like a phishing scam AND it isn't intuitive.

I'm not artsy so I don't really get what it is about a site that makes it seem fake. Anyhow, the Cathe.com change wasn't unpleasant on my screen and I wouldn't bother changing the colors. But, it also wasn't inviting.

Rambling here. Did Cathe post her first update as promised?

All the orange actually makes it look old fashioned, I think. Like this is the first website anyone ever had in 1996 or something. (I picked 1996 because that was the first internet access I had. )

Kind of indifferent about what the site looks like. It looks clean, which I like.

Does anyone know if there is a way to view only 'Today's Posts'? That's the only way I have ever used her forum (and VF too, for that matter).

eta: Can't wait to see more updates about the new series!
