New Cathe Forum and Update
She'll be posting new HiiT updates starting Sept 30th on her Facebook fan page.
She also changed the look and color of her forums. I honestly hate the color  Someone already posted that they don't like it either, maybe she'll listen and change it to something prettier! |

I just went over there to check. She must have changed the colors because of Halloween or Autumn coming.

Cathe has been using orange on her name logo for quite a while now, so I'm guessing that's why it's orange.
It looks different, but cleaner and more modern. I know people don't like it when things change but this looks much nicer from a design point of view.

I was thinking the same thing too, maybe it's an Autumn thing or maybe to make her orange logo. The design I dont mind, but the colors are hideous! I don't like that peachy orange or that brown/gray/taupe accent color. It's just not fun or inviting. But that's just my humble opinion

Yeah, change can be distracting and hard to get used to.
I am not an orange/taupe/brown, etc. fan either, so I find the new forum kind of off putting for that reason. Colors aside, I am sure I'll get used to it and it will eventually look normal to me. One thing I would say too, those colors against a white background are just not as easy to read. You would think they'd change it for the better in that regard, but obviously that wasn't a consideration.

One thing I liked about the Firm Yayas forum was that you could pick your own color and design scheme from several selections. Haven't been there in a long time so not sure it's still possible.

I love the new look and I find the text very easy to read. The style is cleaner and more modern. But I'm also someone who enjoys change.

I like the colors! But I agree, either the white has to be a little less white, or the text has to be a little darker. It is a bit difficult to see the text on the front page. I like how it looks when you go into the actual threads, with the black font and light orange background.
