Ahh, good to know!

go lighter than you would normally. The compound moves are fast and you don't want to injure yourself.

I have completed the system once and have sometimes go back and do individual workouts. IMHO, this system is really designed for light to medium weights.

I'm doing FE and I was one of the testers so I've had a lot of experience doing these. LOL! I am now up to using all the way to my 25# weights for these in the sculpting ones. They are REALLY leaning me out and sculpting some great arm muscles/leaning my legs out.

So I think you can potentially lift heavy with them.

Wow!!

I guess I'll have to work my way up to higher weights and until then go by how I feel! I know, certain movements I just can't do with heavy DBs, some muscle parts are just to weak for it yet!

Oh definitely Val! I didn't start out with those size weights when testing them. I started with 10-15# as my heavies and worked it up slowly from there.

Even though I've been doing these for over 2 years now they have not gotten old for me! I can honestly say these will never leave my weekly rotations.

That's really great to know!
I guess I'm shocked at myself just how weak I've gotten over the years! When I used to lift weights at the gym up until 2-3 years back, I know I was much stronger and a lot more toned! (I found a back shot -flexing- of me recently, taken in 2009, and I could have cried, knowing I look nowhere near that nowadays!..) Now I just feel 'skinny fat', which is why I'm happy having found the FIRM workouts and especially the Express ones! I'm loving their short but intense workouts!!! All I need to be now is consistent!!!

Val - When I started out testing them.... I was coming off a year long battle with breast cancer. So my energy/endurance was low too.... and even though I worked out through out my body was not where I wanted it. FIRM Express really has made a HUGE difference. I actually feel like it picked up my metabolism.

Good luck to you!!!
