New Pure Barre Results DVD

They are targeted - one is seat the other abs

http://www.purebarre.com/shop/dvds-e...ltsDVDs_042815

Great package deal which includes immediate streaming. Great deal.

Ok, I just previewed the streaming videos - I think they look great. Actually different than their previous offerings, not more of the same, just a new gadget. Tomorrow I have tonique on tap, but I really want to try one of these.... Maybe I'll try the ab one if I still feel up to it after my tonique.

Yes, http://www.purebarre.com/shop/dvds-e...s-on-seat.html

Plus you can purchase the abs one by itself as well.

Hope that helps!

Whew! I can't imagine 60 min. of Pure Barre Abs or Butt work.
I'll be glad to hear how you ladies like it, though!

No, the link Denise provided said the seat workout is taught by "Pure Barre Master Trainer and Studio Owner, Sami Sweeney".

OK I just finished the Abs focused one. First off, the instructor is awesome. It's a studio owner from CO. She is pleasant and easy to listen to. It starts with a few PB tips and then you start. It's a full body workout, with emphasis on abs. I it. The picture is HD and the camera angles are spot on. The girls have bright blue pants on so there is no question what their leg is doing, etc.

The music is pretty non-existent in parts. The moves are new and fresh. It uses the double band, but you can always modify without. I'll try and break down what I remember, but I'm horrible at that.

Warm up - same as always
Pilates 100
the traditional 90 second plank they always do
weights - same arm work
thigh work -
start with thigh dancing
new thigh moves to me at the "barre" - you essentially face a wall and place your hands on it - they don't even use a barre. You do some thighs mixed with ab pulses
one more move that is escaping me right now
stretches
seat work
another new move at the wall/barre
pretzel with the band and some ab twists
more ab work - I bailed at this point definitely good moves, I was just done. I did a tonique before this. It seemed like about 15-20 min of ab work here
stretch

the workout clocked in at exactly 1 hr. It really seems like they have been listening to the feedback on changing the workouts - not churning out the same workout with a different "gadget" the set is bright, airy, clean and the instructor was great. There is an advanced and lower modifier. The instructor starts the moves and then goes to each girl to show form pointers. I know that bothers some people.

Honestly I'm shocked at how awesome I think this one is. I'm sure the seat one will be great too - I love working seat, but as I said, I just finished Tonique so my seat was spent.

hth

edited to add - I just checked the seat workout and it clocks in at 1:05! nice!

Please post your thoughts on the Seat workout. I would like to know what kind of moves are included. I think I am going to get it. Thanks for posting.

Sue, do you think these (or at least the one you tried) could be broken down into two 30 minutes workouts? I just don't have an hour to workout most of the time. They do sound good. I've never owned a Pure Barre workout.
