Any clever ideas for storing body bars/sculpting sticks?

I have a couple of body bars and the 2 sculpting sticks and am looking for ideas on how to store these so they are easily available but not leaning against the wall. The closet is an option but I would prefer to have them out if I could figure out a good way to store them that wouldn't mark up the wall.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Well, this system still has the bars leaning against the wall, but they look tidy. It's made of wood so it could probably be cut down if you don't have nine bars.

The price is reasonable too. I might have to get one of these...

ETA: OK, I just ordered it. I've been on a major cleaning/decluttering kick and have been trying to figure out what to do with the bars. Thanks Marie!

No couch in my workout room.

Do you think this http://www.coatrackshack.com/Coat-Ra...Collection.htm would work? I could hang my bands from the hooks!

I think you'd need to be careful that the weight of the bars wouldn't cause it to tip over... meaning, if you pulled out a 10lb. body bar in the middle of a workout, the rack would be sturdy enough for the new weight balance not to send it teetering! you know what i mean?

I think the coat rack is neat, but I'm with Nuggie's Auntie concerning the weight distribution. Maybe a ceramic umbrella holder would work. I've seen some that are pretty heavy. You might also check out large decorative planters, something that has a narrower opening like an urn might work.

Just some thoughts. Good luck on your search and let us know what you find.

I apologize for the thread jack, but I spent 20 minutes figuring out I wasn't smart enough to use the search engine.

I'm thinking about investing in a body bar[s]/sculpting stick[s]. I'm more than a beginning exercizer, but I am nowhere near Cathe caliber. I can make it through KV's Great Weighted Workout with only a couple of breaks.

Anywho, I'm curious what weight body bar I ought to start with--I have a Firm workout that uses a body bar, and since I joined Netflix, I thought I might try a few other body bar/sculpting sticks workouts.

So, I want one that's good for me now but will be good for me in a couple of months when I'm stronger.

What do you recommend?

thanks, guys

I lean mine against the wall behind my workout room door, but it does mark up the wall so is not ideal.

My wall is already marked up but I think after I paint I'll start slipping a sock over the end of the bar when I'm not using it.

Yes that was a concern. Maybe I could put some big rocks in the bottom?!
