Leslie is always there for me when I don't want to do anything. I'd read about her workouts hurting people's hip flexors, so for a few years I've been doing only some of the knee lifts and doing "tap out", heels in front, or skaters, or just about anything else and so far, so good.

I reach for a YBB on low energy days.
Or Weight Watchers Punch-it's basically a Leslie walk with punches.

Sherry can you sub hamstring curls? I often do that. I like Alta's advice of only doing a mile and Char's advice to do toe taps too.

I would never get rid of any of my beginner workouts or easier, shorter workouts.

My favs are my Tamilee Quick toning DVDs/VHS which are 15 minutes, 10 minute solution workouts and also the Method pilates workout. I can almost always feel good about doing the 20 min warmup in The Method All in One workout.

When I wake up like that, which happens often, I usually read a book or watch TV. Good for you for exercising

That is also a fave of mine for a low key day.

I love, love, love the YOUv2 workouts. They are fun, time flies, easy choreography and good music. I do them all the time.

I really like Cathe’s Cardio Party and Step Sync for my easier days.

Leslie walking workouts are good for easy days. Also, the Gilad TV shows and Crunch Fat Burning Pilates and Burn and Firm Pilates. There's also the PowerFit workouts with Stephanie Huckabee.

I second Leslie's walking workouts for low energy days. No matter how tired I am, I can always gather up enough energy to put one foot in front of the other. I can even tune out her "wok, wok, wok" and her manic laugh.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have to really change Leslie for her workouts not to irritate my lower back and hip flexors. I will make a list of easier dance workouts and tai chi/qi gong for days I need to move but do not have energy.
