So far I've seen and done one episode from season 9 as I saw it on one of the PBS stations. I knew it was season 9 since it was in Mexico. Here are my thoughts on the episode I did.
* Beautiful scenery
* Miranda is very focused.
* The episode I saw had some "Core" focus. The standing part had the trademark standing exercises to focus on the core (i.e. caribbean spine, etc). Then she used a chair to do the various leg exercises (i.e. work on the ankles and calves, kicks on different direction, and stretches).
The "cardio" portion of the workout came from the familiar leg kicks exercises done at an increasing pace for a few sets. Nothing new in terms of moves, maybe just tweaks to familiar moves to make it more "cardiovascular". For me it did the trick, it elevated my heart rate but I am quite unfit so I find any movement has a cardio effect on me.
As I've said, I've only seen and done one episode so far so I don't really know how the entire season will go. I'll see if I can watch and do tonight's episode (if there is any). I'll report back on my findings.
