LOVING this set!! I've just done MetaPocalypse Upper and Lower plus MetaGainz Upper.
O-M-G!
First of all, Lower #1 FRIED my legs! I used the heavier grey band instead of the orange. I had DOMS for 2 days!

Upper 2 was great! Just did it today and went as heavy as I could. Fried again!

I just love the different exercises, the different rep paces and the different band work. The Blood Flow Restriction bands are wicked - The Finishers will finish you!

I love BJ's sense of humor. Sophomoric yes, but its ok by me.
I'm inspired by the backgrounders! It's fun and tough (so far). I am kind of doing my own rotation (Upper first then Lower) and mixing in other cardio in between.

GREAT purchase!!
Now I want to figure out a rotation with both MetaShreds.

Sun: Rest/Long Stretch.

Question for anyone: Is Rodale the only one selling BJ Gaddour's workouts? I hate the 3-payment option. I'd so much rather pay once.

(And Rodale has a poor reputation for getting it right.)

When I purchased from rodalestore.com it was one payment. I always use a one-time credit card number. Not all credit cards offer this option, so I have a specific card for my online purchases because it offers this feature. (On my card, it is called "Shopsafe")

I am just starting my 4th cycle of Metashred. This weekend, my BF said "Wow, you are looking buff! I think Metashred agrees with you!"

Daphne, the infomercial site has the 3-payment option, but if you go directly to the rodale store, you can pay all at once, and you even can apply the customer25 code for 25% off (I checked a while back without ordering and didn't put on any personal info). I've bought twice from them in the past, thankfully without problems.

Adrien, glad to hear you're sticking with the program, still enjoying it and getting awesome results!! Congrats!!

Hi Sugar!

I am doing the warm-ups and strength routines "close to" as prescribed, (4x per week) but still have not done any of the Metarecovery workouts or finishers. I add on 20-30 min. extra cardio instead. Also, the core workout that comes with this is 20 minutes. I sub other ab routines that are closer to 10 minutes. (My faves are Turbo Fire abs, Slim in 6 Pack, Cathe's Muscle Endurance med ball abs.)

Here is what a 2-week cycle looks like for me! ()

MON: Metashred Upper 1 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
TUE: Metashred Lower 1 + 20-30 min. Cardio
WED: 60+ min cardio + abs
THU: Metashred Lower 2 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
FRI: Metashred Upper 2 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
SAT: 60+ min cardio + abs (usually a 5-mile Leslie or moderate intensity)
SUN: 60+ min cardio at the gym (either treadmill or bike - high intensity)

MON: Metashred Upper 3 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
TUE: Metashred Lower 3 + 20-30 min. Cardio
WED: 60+ min cardio + abs
THU: Metashred Lower 4 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
FRI: Metashred Upper 4 + 20-30 min. Cardio + ABS
SAT: 60+ min cardio + abs (usually a 5-mile Leslie or moderate intensity)
SUN: 60+ min cardio at the gym (either treadmill or bike - high intensity)
