New to Barre

I have avoided barre workouts in the past because I thought they weren't "real" workouts, but with age and injuries I decided to try them again. Boy was I wrong. I did Pure Barre a few days ago and the only other times I've felt pain like that I was either bleeding or pushing a kid out! But it was a good pain because afterwards I didn't feel beat up or tight. I'm also doing some Classical Stretch and really enjoying that too. I haven't been doing this very long but my clothes are already feeling a little looser. Just thought I would share, and confirm that you can teach an old dog new tricks

No, but, then again, Physique 57 classes don't come with epidurals, do they?

LOL I could use an epidural during thigh dancing. Sheesh that thing BURNS. I've been doing P57 for 5 months and that part slays me every time.

I just had to post because this really hits home for me.

The other day during one of the Pure Barres (which I ), I think during the ab workout, I thought to myself "This is as painful as menstrual cramps."

And yet... I keep coming back to it like I'm addicted. It must be the results I'm seeing in the mirror and in my clothes.

Either that, or I'm a masochist.
