Helen's RAW workout as well as her bootcamp one with Donna reed. Also franny benedetto-cia 990 something. Oh yeah, extreme intervals. Wish greg would put these on dvd.

I have so many older CIAs on VHS, and I can't bring myself to get rid of any of them! Lately I've been interested in older step tapes that are slower in tempo and don't have so much twisting and turning, so that's renewed my interest in older CIA step.

My favorites, in no particular order...
5004 and 7002 and 9801 - all by Christi Taylor, compiled on her Humble Beginnings DVD
9701 and 2K06 - Donna Read
7005, 9704, 9901 and 2K05 - Franny Benedetto
2K04 - Becky Chamberlain
2104 - Gay Gasper
9802 - Faith Scarinzi
8003 - Jennifer Mills
7004 and 5005 - segments by the Anderson sisters and Paul McKean
9808 - Sherry Catlin

If anyone wants details or wants me to post a clip, let me know!

I think that's why I have such an interest in the older tapes--much less twisting and turning.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their lists. I'm making a list to be on the lookout for!

Most of them the choreography is not as complicated either, or at least it is easier to learn.

Slower in tempo? Less twisting and turning? Easier choreography?
PLEASE share with me which on your lists are the slowest and easiest!!!

Oh, yeah, but in spite of all that, they are still intense and cardiovascularly challenging (at least to me)!

I think of the ones I named, the Donna Read 9701 and the Mindy Mylrea 2101 have the easiest choreography. I don't remember even having to learn these.

How slow and how simple?

Christi's 5004, which is on the Humble Beginnings DVD, is very basic; T-steps, L-steps and turnsteps are about as hard as it gets. If you can find it, 5005 is also simple yet fun.
