When I previewed it, it looked a bit repetitive and I was afraid it might get a bit boring, but it didn't. I loved it.
Yes! The surges are done through twice!!!

The gymstick has each tube end in a circle (that's not the right word but can't think of another at the moment) to put around each foot. Cathe's does not have that. The gymstick tubing reminds me more of Billy Blanks' tubing that he used in the Bootcamp and Bootcamp Elites but his tubing doesn't have the bar part.

ETA: "Loop" is the word I should have used instead of "circle".

I did the first half of this on Tuesday and the second half and the fusion stretch this morning. I really love this workout. It's Kim's usual fun stuff and her usual great cueing. There are six sections (in this order) that are each about 8-ish minutes:

Med Ball
Kickbox
Combat with bar
Med Ball
Kickbox
Combat with bar

Fusion stretch is separate.

The four premixes are:

Both Med Ball sections together
Both Kickbox sections together
Both Combat with bar sections together
The warmup plus the Fusion Stretch

Most of her combos do everything on one side and then everything on the other side. I had a great time both days and will definitely be doing this one again.

I tried Amy's workout this morning and I thought the first pattern was kinda difficult too! It was fun tho, typical Amy! I hope I pick it up easier next time. I'm scared to try Seasun's!

Sounds great!

What is the Fusion Stretch like?

She starts out doing standing flowing movements and then goes to the floor for stretches that also flow. I'm trying to remember - there was always a combination of two stretches that she'd go back and forth between. I could be wrong but I think she had upward-facing plank flow into side plank with knee on the floor. So you'd do upward-facing plank, side plank, then back to upward-facing plank and so on for several repetitions. I hope that makes sense.

I'm patiently waiting for my Kickbox Surge to arrive. Then I liked the look of Kimberly's Cardio Combat Surge clip so much, I ordered her workout, and a light Bodybar. Then to justify the cost of the Bodybar and DVD, I also ordered Kimberly's Absolute Kickboxing and Mindy's All Systems Go.

I'm home sick with the flu and in no condition to work out, but I can still exercise my credit card.
I'm still sick but my hubby just brought in my copy of Kickbox Surge and Bodybar.

I'm previewing Kickbox Surge now. It looks great! Not too complex (that I can see so far) well-cued and great music!

The core section looks fab too! Really unique moves.

As for the Bodybar, I'm glad I ordered the 6 pound one. I think doing Combat Cardio Surge with a 9 pound bar would kill me!

Yup. My Amy was a plain white DVD with black lettering.
