Hi Becky,
I received a figure 8 loop from Pure Barre with my resistance DVDs a while back, and the little foam piece that held the loop together broke almost immediately. Loop like these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Yosoo-5-C...74&athena=true I use small loop bands (like these: https://www.amazon.com/Perform-Bette...s%2C121&sr=8-4) for when they double up the figure-8 into a tight little loop, and an oversized loop (like these?: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Set-Bands...apy-/625410995) when they use it in a figure-8 position like around the knees in a wide pile. In the Resistance DVDs I end up having to use both types of bands, but I don't find it cumbersome. The oversized band is really wide so it doesn't roll around too much. Or you might try the fabric ones (like these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Butt-Band...bric/440661624) which are supposed to be really comfortable. Linda from Barlates endorses these, I'm thinking of investing in a set. I mostly find that tubing just seems to gouge into my legs more than bands. The Resistance DVDs are great workouts. Did you get all four?

The Pure Barre studios are stocked with the double loops to use in classes. Since they sell streaming subscriptions, they really should sell the loops to use at home.
