Thank you Leslie! Which one of the two do you think is more advanced/harder?

Elisa - I agree with Leslie about putting Pure Barre between Squeeze and Element Ballet. Pure Barre has a tougher plie series (my quads were hurting for days!) I'd say Squeeze and Squeeze Stronger have tougher arm segments than Pure Barre. Element Ballet doesn't have an arm section but your arms will really feel it just from holding them up for so long.

If you can't handle the LB people, then start with TBM Designer and Fat Free. I liked Burr much better and got great workouts with excellent instruction with them.

i tend to stalk Fuzzie when it comes to ranking the various workouts (link to page 5, second to last reply):

Squeeze Stronger reviews

no one mentioned callanetics - i think for form, the 10/10 workout is great, along with reading the 10/10 hard cover book. the book is available in most libraries. i like the 10/10 workout because she makes beginners feel welcome. during some of the breaks, she shows modifications.

I tried LB before and I liked it, TBM, on the other hand, seemed a bit slow to me (for my taste). That was also the reason why I couldn't get into Callanetics.

Cardio Barre, on the other hand, is too fast. And Richard Giorla never shuts up

What ranking are you referring to? It's an advanced workout and it's pretty high up there in the "begging for a break" scale that I judge my barre workouts by. I just did it again today so it's fresh on my mind.

These are my barre workouts and where I find them on the intensity scale, one being the easiest.

1. Lotte Berk DVD's minus the bonus workouts.
2. The Bar Method original set
4. Lotte Berks Bonus workouts
5. Squeeze Lower Body Challenge
6. Squeeze
7. Cardio Barre 4 in 1 (intro to intermediate)
8. Core Fusion Body Sculpt
9. Pure Barre Pershing Square 2
10. Squeeze Stronger
11. Core Fusion Glutes and Thighs
12. The original Pure Barre
13. Super Callenetics
14. Physique 57
15. Cardio Barre Advanced from 4 in 1, and the Ultimate workout.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. YMMV.

Edited because I counted one workout twice.

I would say SC is tougher than P57. P57 is tough don't get me wrong. However for me. it's not as challenging anymore. This is only after a handfull of times. SC after 20 years still gets me. Those pelvic circles have never gotten easy! Pure Barre made my legs quiver for months during the dvd. This is my go to barre tape. It's not to long & I find it very effective!
