Rethink Firm SBHT

Today is a super busy day for me. Yet, I wanted to do something good for my body before I jump into "go mode". I decided to reach for SBHT, which again, has sat on my shelf forever!

I decided not to do the entire routine. I picked 2 ab segments and all the lower body work. Came in just over 20 minutes. I didn't worry about calories burned today. I really enjoy floor work and need to do more of it. Tracie's floor work for the legs is wonderfully tough. I wore 5 lb ankle weights and used 8 lbs for inner thigh work.

I know this workout is over the top with ab work and it's why I haven't been reaching for it. But today I gave myself permission to use it differently and it worked out great!

If you have this one or on the fence about getting it, ... rethink how you'd use it. I'ts worth having it in my collection to use segments as add ons or as I used it today.

Oh Carol, thanks for the reminder! I had a VHS copy of it with it's original title when it first came out.

I still have that VHS, although Collage Video sent me the photo cover with the new name when they got it.

This is an oldie but goodie - I pull it off the shelf every month or two when I want to workout but don't feel like getting my heart rate up (e.g. when trying to recover from cough/cold bug but needing to do something) or if I have 30 mins to spare for some additional working out!

I find it funny that these workouts have been discussed more times than we can keep count. Yet, I love that after time away from them, I can find something "new" about them to talk about. Even if it's how to motify the routine, etc.

So many of our older/vintage workout still have so much to offer.
