Looked at the link and, no, I won't be watching. I hate when someone professes to know "the" best way to lose weight and be healthy - and then forces it on others. I didn't watch the video, but scrolled down to the info below.

I caught about 45 minutes of the hour long show. I missed the beginning, but it seems the show was focused on a plant based diet. The group lost a lot of weight on the biggest loser, but it seems they never really learned how to eat and exercise in MODERATION! They discussed working out 8 hours a day 6 days a week on 1200 calories/day on the Biggest Loser. I think they felt they had to continue on that sort of routine to stay thin. They all got so frustrated they abandoned all aspects of diet and exercise. The host explained how they can make quick healthy meals without having to resort to fast foods, and how they can work out in smaller increments. The show was more about changing their attitude about diet and exercise. The group was followed for maybe 6 months (?) and all lost weight and improved their health and attitudes. Of course it wasn't the crazy amounts of weight lost like on the biggest loser, but now I think they will be able to keep the weight off and continue exercising.

Wendy- thanks for posting. I put on ZLiving to find that Verizon Fios moved the channel to HD only. We don't pay extra for an HD box so we lost that channel

I saw this on Inside Edition. It's a plant based totally meat and I think dairy free diet. Also you use only body weight, no barbells or dumbbells to work out. I was interested at first but then hearing the no meat and no equipment I lost interest.

JD Roth, the showrunner behind TBL and Extreme Weightloss, has been plant based for a couple of years. He did a very long interview about his diet and the show with Rich Roll for his podcast. I haven't been able to listen to the entire thing yet. While he sounds sincere, he has a somewhat off-putting, bombastic tv style (which I guess makes sense, since he's had a very successful career producing over-the-top shows without a lot of subtlety).

I wish I got that channel because I'm kind of curious about the show, being mostly plant-based myself.

I miss the channel which we got until they moved it to HD only. They showed episodes of Namaste Yoga, several other fitness shows and interesting health programs.
