Slower paced step workouts?

Hi all, I used to love doing fast, semi-advanced choreography step workouts, but now, with an ankle that has little cartilage left, those days are gone.

Any suggestions for step workouts that are not only low impact, but at a slower pace?

I hear ya about the pacing. Have you done any of Jenny Ford's Youtube workouts? I have been doing some of hers and still get a good workout.

Gin Miller’s Everybody Steps
Jane Fonda’s Lower Body Solution (sort of half step/half floor aerobics, which I like because it’s different)
Step Reebok the Video ( I LOVE this workout)
Jenny Ford’s Step Aerobics Made Easy
Kathy Smith and Debra Mazda also have some basic step workouts

Kathy Smith's Great Buns & Thighs (1993) workout is very good.

The pace is reasonable and even keeping it all low impact it is a heart-pumping workout.

Some great suggestions! Gilad Step Aerobics & Kari Anderson’s Go are slower with basic choreo.

+1 on KS Great buns and thighs and really all her step workouts
+3 on Gin Miller simply step and step reebok the video

Gilad Step aerobics

I wish the buns of steel step workouts made it to dvd but they are solid steady state step

Cathe did a set of step tutorials on You Tube. They’re slower paced and easy to follow. I strung a few together to create a longer workout.

Besides the Kari and Kathy options already shared, I enjoy The FIRM Cardio Step Mix, Tracie Long's Step Forward, and Victoria Johnson's Step With Style. The last isn't super glossy and trendy re: visual ( the set decor), but she shows variations and uses the 4inch step platform as well.
