Question Fitness plans/rotations for May?

I've been doing pretty much the same rotation for about a year and a half. Using different workouts and instructors, but the same plan. Once in a while I'll get inspired to do something with more structure, like Kathy Smith's Project You or Leslie's Miracle Miles set. But, I don't get too far and I end up going back to the same old same old. I currently have no brain power for anything complex or mentally-challenging.

DH just finished up a six-month DDP Yoga rotation. (DH has a lot of ambition and dedication!) He's not sure what is next on his fitness agenda.

What are your plans for May and beyond?

I plan to continue what I began in January 2019. Every month I make a chart with boxes to check for certain instructors, styles of yoga, walks, etc.

For May I added a category: use it, keep it, donate it or dump it.

A couple weeks ago I joined Yoga with Kassandra's Morning Yoga Movement, a 10 minute+ yoga video with a daily intention for 30 days. When I finish I'm going to start it over again.

I sure hope my June chart will include boxes for gym workouts.

I will continue what I've been doing. I try to do a more intense workout on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, either a YouTube workout or a DVD. Other days, I exercise as I can including walks in the neighborhood. I try to get outside every day.

Oh I want to know more about your chart, Pat!! I have a spreadsheet every month for my overall goals and I do have lines for workouts but I'd love to hear how you set yours up!

I started Kassandra's Morning Yoga Movement as well but haven't kept up with it since mid-month. I will finish it and also restart bc like it so much.

I don't know what my May plans are. Running, yoga and DVDs, I guess. No set plan. I haven't worked out since we lost my mom but I am really missing it and need to get back to it. I never changed my outside habits when I was home, still ran and took long dog walks, but here it is too hot to be out from like 8 AM to 9 PM.

I started STS but just doing upper body. I had done the whole rotation a few years ago. I had spinal surgery about 6 months ago and have been slowly increasing my strength with the modifications I need to. I feel I'm ready for more structure and direction. I'm doing any 1 rep max's just starting out with low weights and going from there. I'm going to continue walking and try to increase my cardio capacity a bit by doing at least one non walking workout per week. I'm not allowed any impact or things like burpees but right now even Cathe's step workouts challenge me. For legs I'm going to do floor work and barre.

I'm 6 days into Pahla B's 31-Day Challenge -- I'll probably continue through that (adding in yoga as needed). After that, I'll either start Leah Sarago's set or keep on with some workouts from YouTube.

I'm probably going to take a break from Cathe and spend some time with Tracie Long for a few weeks.

Peakfit rotation

I picked this up in Mary’s sale and am a few days into it. It seems to be consistent with what I was doing before, alternating strength, cardio, and metabolic workouts.

I'm going to keep on keeping on my with Lauren Brooks Playground workouts. These really make me happy. I love that she adds programs and not just random workouts; it really makes her site worth the money for me. I've also been adding Cathe in and I really like that combo. Cathe is my comfort food and I also need longer workouts to keep the endurance up. In theory I'd like to add in more walking, but for whatever reason I can never really commit to that even though once I get out there, I love being outside.
So Lauren 3-4x per week and Cathe 1-2x per week. I'd also like to add in the Simple and Sinister program 2x per week when I have shorter KB workouts as it's a decent add on.
