I don't get sciatica, but I do get hip/SI joint and lower back pain from time to time...who knows, maybe it is sciatica - but I always pictured it to be pain that shoots down your leg, which I don't have, thankfully~
Anyway - this is a good routine - Jessica is a PT, but like so many things in life, we are all so different, and what works for one doesn't work for another, but this may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMjUw-6MeXg You are definitely not alone w/ back, hip, etc. pain! Donna |

I haven't had sciatica either, but I've dealt with piriformis issues for several years, and I believe it's related to the sciatic nerve. And lately my lower back is getting really tight and sore from sitting too long. Two workouts have worked like magic for me:
James Knight--Gentle Yoga through Somatic Exploration (clip here). I do the Lower Extremities section. Note: it's a DVD-R. Viniyoga Therapy for Low Back, Sacrum & Hips Hope you find something that works for you!
