Yeah, that's basically what I do--i.e., designate each day as a specific type of workout and then choose from what I have for that day. Here's what I started with:
Monday = long cardio Tuesday = strength Wednesday = long yoga Thursday = aerobic weight training or similar Friday = Classical Stretch or other stretch Saturday = barre Sunday = yoga class I do a lot of add-ons, so I might add short yoga to my main workout or short cardio on another day. I don't follow this as closely as I used to, but I still almost always do my main cardio on Mondays and longer yoga on Wednesdays.
