I have been craving a step workout! Why doesn't anyone do these anymore? Too dated???

Two reasons: (1) The younger crowd never learned step, and (2) The recent generations of instructors haven't learned to create choreography. Everyone is pushing HIIT and pre-fab stuff. I guess #2 could be the cause of #1.

We need a new generation of Christi Taylors, Marcus Irwins, and Rebecca Smalls. They were the teachers of the teachers!

Agreed - and Marco Prolo too. I almost gave up on complex step until I did a couple of his workouts. Then something "clicked" and I "got it."

Posted question to Steven on Facebook this morning, asking for an update on shipping preorders of his new dvds. He answered very quickly stating that duplicator will ship his order this weekend. He also said he will message me when they ship from him. I will post again when I receive that info.

Got my shipping notice! I ordered both of these. They are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to them for sure.

Me too, I hope the workouts are good! I really wanted to support him since he is doing creative step!!!

What Annie said. I think it takes talent and time to create a choreographed step routine (even hi/lo). Maybe some day, we will see a resurge of step. I think Amy Bento Ross is creating one.
