Yes, Jade! I have both Jade and Manduka and they're both great, but Jade is much better in terms of not slipping when you're sweaty.

I practice hot yoga several times a week and I sweat a lot! I have a yoga design lab mat that worked well for a few months. It's slippery when dry and sticky as it gets wet. i would sprinkle it with a little water before practice to9 get it going. It's a pretty mat and slightly textured like towel. It's also on the heavy side. It just wasn't sticky enough.
I bought a Lululemon mat (it's what 90% of the people in my class use) and I find it to be completely sticky until my hands get really wet. Now I use a towel strategically about when we get to chair pose and on. I find this works best for me. I also use it now for the Kripalu class I go to because it is so sticky. It's a bit heavy too.
My husband bought a Jade mat and it's a nice lighter weight mat but he hates it for hot yoga. He uses a towel with it because it's slippery as he gets sweaty. It's probably great for a non sweaty practice.
I've come to realize that a mat is a very personal choice and what one person loves someone else hates.

Good luck!!

Jane

I have the Manduka Eko and really like it.
I read some reviews for hot yoga mats as I figured if it could be used there it should not slip.

I just recently got this and love it. Completely non-slip for me, whether on hardwood floors or carpet.

I saw a recent recommendation for Aurora mats sold on Amazon. They are reasonably priced too.

Liforme is my recommendation. It is expensive, but it has been worth the money for me.

I have an Aurora mat and really like it. I bought it from Amazon. The company even e-mailed me to ask how I liked the mat. I have never owned a more expensive mat.
