Agreed Donna. I like this set, but I don't pull it out as much as I would like.

Wow this makes me want to pull this set out! I didn't get all the way through it, and I didn't find it easy. Of course, I don't do much of Jillian Michael's stuff, so I guess it's all relative What's good to pair with Weider?

Thanks everyone. I didn't find this easy when I did it either bubbles - in fact, one week (5?) I continued to repeat and it never got easy. I haven't revisited the set yet and haven't done the total body and abs workout either. I would pair it with strength program since it's a lot of metabolic cardio/BW strength.

Buffmama, week 5 did me in too ha! I can't remember what I was pairing it with at the time --maybe Tracey Staehle's Metabolic workouts? It will be exciting to visit these to see if my endurance is up or down. Maybe pairing this with some short KCM? Or shorter Cathe?

Staehle's Strength workouts would be good and total body. I was thinking Montenegro rotating through upper, lower and core. Kettlebells would also be nice but can't think of anything as simple as the above two ideas.

I can't remember what I mixed w/ X-Factor when I did it - I think I may have occasionally thrown in a Tracie Long workout.

I do recall one week being tough - but the next week not being so bad compared to the prior week. Maybe that was week 5.

One day I need to do this set again - I felt I built up good core strength from it.

Oh I like all these ideas! And I haven't touched my Montenegro dvds in awhile. Mostly because of no warm up or cool down. I'll probably put Tracey with it, because I got great core strength with Tracey. Goodness knows I need all the help I can get.

I think you all are helping me build my January rotation haha! And here I was thinking that it would be Cathe.

OLD THREAT ALERT:

I started these workouts today. I have had the set since it came out and never made it through them and so I am planning on this rotation.

I plan only to do the workouts M and Fr, Wed I plan on doing Cathe's Afterburn express premix, I think that will give me a burn.

The other days will be cardio - kickboxing, walking, elliptical, guess whatever I feel like doing.

I haven't attempted a bodyweight routine before so this will be interesting and since I cannot seem to do the same workout 3 times a week I figure I can do it twice a week and throw in the Cathe.

Has anyone done the Weider workouts recently? I know there have been people doing them a few years ago.
