The leg weights Margaret Richard uses

I am trying to find a pair like that. The ones on her website are pretty pricey, but I want something soft like that, that will fit over the upper leg and not just the ankle.

I used to have ankle weights that had pockets and you inserted little lead weights to your desired heaviness, but they pinched like the devil.

Welcome any advice!

I had looked at Margaret's thigh weights a few years ago. They are crazy expensive (and the shipping is crazy, too)!

I found leg weights that I can use that were a lot cheaper and adjustable:

I can get the strap around my lower thigh. (Err, lost a bit of weight recently.) But, one can always get a piece of velcro to extend the length of the strap. I find them comfortable enough.

All Pro makes thigh weights, but they don't go heavy enough for me:

Thank you! I knew somebody here would have a solution!

I can't believe I'm starting to need weight - only for inner and outer thighs, for the hamstring and quad work I cannot get through a set yet. But I also want to put the weight on my lower stomach for the glute tucks like Margaret does.

Pat, search thigh weights at Amazon. I got some for a decent price.

In a pinch you can also chain link (end to end) two ankle or wrist weights for one thigh weight. Carly

I've had my AllPro for 20 years. I just double up for floorwork which is five pounds. I should buy heavier weights but don't want to spend any money now. I could always hold a dumbbell on my legs like they did in the old Firms.
