Size For Stability Ball

For those of you who are under 5'5", like I am, did you buy the 55cm or 65cm ball?

There seems to be alot of conflicting info out there, some people prefer the 65cm ball even when it indicates for their height to buy the 55cm.

What are you experiences with this?

I have both sizes and they're both slightly underinflated. I use the larger one more often, for core exercises or anything where I'll be either sitting on or lying across the ball. I use the smaller one for Pilates type stuff where you hold the ball between your legs, or standing exercises with one foot on the ball.

I'm 5'0", with a proportionately long torso and short legs.

I'm 5'2" and I have a 55cm, but I'm going to get the 65... the 55 is just too small, IMO.

I am just under 5'3" and have both the 55 and 65. I use the 55 more often than the 65 and it feels much more comfortable for me for most exercises. The 65 is definitely too big for me to use for side lying and prone exercises where you're leaning over the ball because my hands don't reach the floor. (I hope that made sense).

I have both a 55 and 65 and find the 65 works better. I have a short torso, seriously no waist, and long legs for my 5'2" body. In fact, my 5'4" mom hemmed my pants longer than she did hers, back in the old days when you couldn't find as many petites. Because of my longer legs, the 65 cm works better. So, I guess it just depends.

I am a smidge over 5'2" & i prefer the 55 for exercises where i have to hold the ball & 65 for exercises where i sit or lay on the ball, mostly!

5'3" with a 55cm ball.... the 65 is just way too big! (and i don't want an underinflated 66 cuz that offer's let instability... the harder the ball the more you have to use your core to hold it steady!)

5'3" with a 55 ball and it's too small. I am actually shopping for a 65 one as we speak. I have short legs and a long torso and long arms. When I drape myself over the 55 ball, my whole upper half just dangles off and I have to work hard to get myself in a position that offers me any abdominal challenge at all.

I'm 5 3.5 and use 55.

I also have a 65, which was my first. It was good to start with I think but definitely too big.
