I too love Firm style step aerobics and and searched for something similar. Christy Taylor's Mission Possible is really fun and comparable to early firms. It is step and hi-lo and both routines are fantastic.

Also, Kathy Kaehler's Step Up to a Better Body is a good alternative. Not too many twists and turns to trip you up!

I see others have suggested Gilad. I don't have any of his workouts but after these recommendations I think I'll look into some of his DVD's.

Good luck!

have you ever owned/tried Anna's WHFN series (kickbutt and fitprime)? excellent production, great music, and it was created by Anna herself.

even the earlier Firm BSS1, BSS2, BSS4 have pretty good step workouts. BSS3 has some but not too many. BSS4 uses the TF, a wider step.

I used to own all of the Kickbutt/FP dvds (not the original ones, the re-filmed/new lead ones), except for anything led by tamela. I wound up keeping just the kick butts. you can get them pretty cheaply at Amazon. I have maybe 2 of the original FitPrimes (Fast Cheetah and Weights First)

Kick Butts:
Heidi Tanner - Push Pull
Heidi Tanner - Steamin' Cardio
Heidi Tanner/Kimberly Spreen - Fast Cheetah
Keli Roberts - Strong Bear
Tamela Hastie - Crunch Time
Tamela Hastie - Floor Burn

FitPrime
Heidi Tanner - Metaboost
Heidi Tanner - Pump
Keli Roberts - Lean
Keli Roberts - Upper Body Burn
Melissa Grill - Lower Body Burn
Tamela Hastie - FlexPosture

what about the new Zumba Incredible Results, which uses the circular step?
