I always thought Brett was cute!
I can't even say the word "capoiera".
From what I understand, capoiera is a Brazilian martial art.
When I was younger and used to play "Tekken".
I was wondering what this character "Eddy" was doing.
Come to find out his character is from Brazil.

A overwhelmingly mostly yoga studio I had once gone to fairly frequently, back in the day already ... had capoeira offerings, including all those rodas (competition circles with percussion instruments to egg the martial artists on) ... The vast majority of the class deteriorated in short enough order to conditioning in regular row-by-row classroom format, not much roda action. And then, the class was gone within a short period of time ... totally never offered again. Throughout the 2-ish years I had been involved, I had never really been encouraged to join the then-existing capoeira class ... You cannot really "defend" yourself with this stuff, if you are the average urban exercise enthusiast; and Brazilian dance it ain't ...

ETA: I never thought Brett was cute. Exceptionally funny--a real riot, yes!

For cute and capoeira, I think Rick Coe has him beat. I probably worked out with Rick Coe more by now ... but the stuff is way, way over my head (and body abilities)

I so wanted to try these short workouts when he gave the free youtube previews before the official release. So, recently I checked out the dvds preview on totalfitness' website and surely enough he's still doing the annoying quick blow out breaths into the mic like he did many years ago on Rev Abs. It drives me nuts.
